Kyiv has recorded a deterioration in air quality due to an increase in dust concentration, the likely cause is low wind speed, the Kyiv City State Administration said on Saturday and gave a number of recommendations, UNN writes.
Kyiv is experiencing a temporary deterioration in air quality. An increase in the concentration of suspended particles (dust) is recorded. The likely cause of the temporary deterioration of air quality is meteorological conditions (in particular, low wind speed), which contributes to the accumulation and retention of harmful impurities in the surface layer of air.
Until the air quality improves, it is recommended to:
- close windows;
- limit outdoor activities;
- drink plenty of water;
- if there is an air purifier, turn it on to the maximum.
