The publication notes that five intertwined rings - blue, yellow, black, green and red - will be installed on the Eiffel Tower, symbolizing the 5 continents participating in the Games. They will be placed about 60 meters from the ground, between the first and second floors.
The monument is one of the most famous and recognizable by tourists, with thousands of people coming every day to take photos at the foot of the work, whose top rises 324 meters.
It is noted that the company that created the rings has been working on this for two years. They will be about: 29 m wide and 15 m high.
The decor of the Eiffel Tower will be the final stage of the opening ceremony, followed by beach volleyball competitions at its foot.
