In Paris, several teenagers were sent to prison after the murder of teacher Samuel Pati in October 2020 over his cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. This was reported by BFMTV, UNN reports.
It is specified that the defendants received different terms of imprisonment - from 14 months to two years. Those who followed the deceased, and pointed out the killer, were sentenced to the most severe punishments.
The trial in Pati's case will continue at the end of 2024. Then eight more people will be brought to trial.

In October 2020, teacher Samuel Pati was ambushed near 18-year-old Chechen Abdulakh Anzorov, who was later shot dead by police, was ambushed near the college, killed and beheaded.
