The Odesa Regional TCC and JV commented on the statement of Serhiy Sternenko that he was wanted, saying that the activist had already visited the Primorsky RTC and JV, where he paid an administrative fine for violating the rules of military registration and was sent to the military medical commission, UNN reports.
In connection with recent public statements by Serhiy Sternenko regarding his being on the wanted list and attempts to discredit the activities of the territorial recruitment and social support centers (RSCs), we provide an official clarification to avoid manipulation and distortion of facts
The Odesa Regional TCC claims that Sternenko did not report a number of important details that significantly change the understanding of the situation.
The TCC states that, in particular, Sternenko has already visited the Primorsky RTCC and the JV, where:
- paid an administrative fine for violating the rules of military registration;
- was sent to the military medical commission (MMC).
These facts indicate that Mr. Sternenko was aware of the need to fulfill his duties as a person liable for military service and took appropriate measures to regulate his status
The Odesa Regional TCC also commented on Sternenko's statements in which he claimed that his search was allegedly “revenge” for his criticism of the military.
Such accusations are unfounded and are intended to arouse public sympathy and create a negative impression of the work of the TCC and the JV. We note that military institutions act exclusively within the framework of the law, in particular, in accordance with Article 259 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine and other legal acts regulating the rules of military registration and mobilization training
The Odesa Regional CCC calls on citizens to perceive such statements objectively and understand that their actions are aimed solely at ensuring the national security and defense capability of the country.
We appeal to Mr. Sternenko and other citizens who have doubts about the legitimacy of the actions of the TCC and JV to contact the structural units of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV directly to clarify all circumstances and eliminate possible misunderstandings. Public criticism and attempts to discredit based on manipulative statements are not a constructive way to resolve the situation and undermine public confidence in state institutions that are protecting our country

On November 7, Sternenko said that on November 6, he was surprised to learn that he was on the wanted list.
I found out not from law enforcement, but from the pro-Russian dump “country” and Rasha Tudei, which is banned in Ukraine. Allegedly, the Primorsky Territorial Recruitment Center put me on the wanted list, sent the document to the police, and the police notified the Russians and their agents, not me. Great allies. I went to the Reserve+, and there was no wanted list
He noted that the summons was allegedly sent to him in Odesa, where he moved from 6 years ago.
In May, I entered my address in Kyiv in Reserve+, and I'm attaching a screenshot. Nothing came here. The summons was sent neither to my residential address nor to my registration. We will deal with this interesting situation
