President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed diplomats and the military to work on strengthening air defense for Kharkiv and Sumy regions, UNN reports.
"Today I spoke with the military about how to provide more protection for Kharkiv, specifically in terms of air defense. All our diplomats have the same task. Strengthening air defense for Kharkiv, the entire Kharkiv region, Sumy region, southern regions is an absolutely urgent need," Zelensky said.
The President thanked every country, every leader who is now in communication and looking for opportunities to help.
"It is absolutely unacceptable that so many countries in the world are still thinking about how to counter terror, although there are only a few political decisions missing - a few air defense systems that could fundamentally change the situation. We will continue to work with our partners," Zelensky summarized.
