Kyiv plans to discuss strengthening air defense capabilities, equipping Ukrainian brigades and mobilizing financial support during tomorrow's meeting in the NATO-Ukraine format in the wake of Russia's use of a new ballistic missile to strike the Dnipro River. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna in a conversation with journalists, UNN reports.
"We already know exactly what to expect from NATO. This is a traditional concern, but for us, the NATO-Ukraine platform is a platform that allows us to promptly inform our allies and receive operational information and their assessments of the situation, which allows us to form a comprehensive picture. In general, we are talking about missile attacks. We will talk about the need to strengthen air defense capabilities, we will talk about equipping Ukrainian brigades, and we will talk about mobilizing financial support at the level of at least 40 billion per year, which was guaranteed to Ukraine at the NATO summit in Washington," Setfanishyna said.
