In the first semifinal match of Euro 2024 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, the Spanish national team defeated the French national team 2-1.
France took the lead in the 9th minute thanks to a goal by Randal Kolo Mouani, who closed out Kylian Mbappe's cross. However, Spain responded in the 21st minute when Lamin Yamal scored a goal from outside the penalty area, setting a record as the youngest goal scorer in Euro history at the age of 16.
Then, in the 25th minute, Spain took the lead when Dani Olmo beat the defender and shot into the far corner of the goal, and France's Jules Cunde cut the ball into his own net.
The Spanish national team is now waiting for the winner of the second semifinal match between the Netherlands and England. So, on Wednesday, July 10, the Spaniards will take the field again in Dortmund.
