Russian occupants are "testing" the defense of the Ukrainian military in the Kupyansk district of Kharkiv region, so they are actively using guided aerial bombs in the direction of the village of Berestove. This was reported by the head of the Kupyansk District Military Administration Andriy Kanashevych during a telethon on Friday, an UNN correspondent reports.
The enemy is obviously "testing" the defense of the Armed Forces, so it is actively using guided aerial bombs in the direction of Berestove, which is almost on the border between Kupiansk and Izyum districts and Luhansk region. That is, we see that there are certain intentions to "test" the defense, to see where there are weaknesses and, possibly, to strike there
He noted that all the settlements that are now almost on the front line are under constant pressure and attacks from the Russian Federation.
"We are observing from Synkivka to Kyslivka, to Berestove, that is, all the settlements that are almost on the front line are under constant pressure, under attack. However, on the other hand, it should be noted that compared to two months ago, when there were active military assaults on our positions, when the enemy conducted up to 10-15 such assaults per day, this is not the case now," noted Kanashevych.
However, he noted that it is possible that the Russians are conducting rotational actions.
"We understand that perhaps some rotational actions are being carried out, perhaps some preparations are underway, and we understand that at any moment this, so to speak, relative calm may end, and the enemy will continue its assault actions. As far as we have information from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, everyone is prepared, the situation is under control," Kanashevych said.
Addendum
Earlier it was reported that the enemy took an operational pause at the Liman and Kupyansk directions.
