The border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions suffered four enemy attacks over the past day, the operational command "North" reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

In Chernihiv region, a 120-mm mortar was reportedly detected in Karpovychi of Semenivka community of 5 parishes, allegedly by a 120-mm mortar. A private house was damaged.
In Sumy region, shelling was recorded in Shostka district: in Starykove - 2 attacks, 6 parishes, in Baranivka - 2 parishes. Both of them were allegedly made with 120-mm mortars.
There is no information on deaths or injuries among the local population.
Already at night, according to the Sumy Military District Administration, the enemy fired mortars at the Krasnopilska community in Sumy region. Eight explosions were recorded.
