The Federation Council of the Russian Federation warned Russians that "martial law" would remain even after the war ends. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), informs UNN.

It is noted that, according to senators, restrictions will be lifted only if they lose "relevance." This refers to norms adopted after the start of the full-scale war: increased control over the internet, criminal liability for "discrediting" the army, and expanded powers of law enforcement agencies.
Initially, these steps were presented as forced and temporary, dictated by the need to "ensure security," but now the Russian authorities actually admit that Russians will have to live under strict restrictions and prohibitions forever
They add that the war has become a convenient excuse for a sharp increase in control in all spheres of Russians' lives.
"And now the dictatorship is being cemented as part of everyday reality. All 'wartime' restrictions serve the main goal - to make society as manageable and dependent on the state as possible," the CCD summarizes.
