On the night of June 2, Russian troops launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine using "Kalibr" cruise missiles, ballistic weapons, and strike drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to UNN.

According to the military, launches of "Kalibr" cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea were recorded around midnight. Almost simultaneously, the Russians launched several waves of strike drones from the territory of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories. The drones moved in the direction of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Several regions came under attack
After 1:00 AM, the Air Force also warned of the threat of ballistic weapons from the east and northeast. In particular, high-speed targets were reported heading towards Zaporizhzhia, Sumy region, and Dnipro.
Around 2:00 AM, the military recorded the movement of cruise missiles through the Sumy region towards the Chernihiv region. The Air Force urged citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to remain in shelters until the danger passed.
