According to him, Dnipro was at the epicenter of the strikes. "Civilian infrastructure was damaged. More than 20 people were affected, including a 9-year-old child among the injured. Two police officers were also wounded," - said the Minister of Internal Affairs.
As Klymenko noted, at one of the locations, the enemy strike virtually destroyed an entire apartment building entrance. "Three people were killed. More than 30 residents were rescued. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble. There may be more victims, as we have information about several people who are not responding to calls," - the minister reported.
In addition to the State Emergency Service, National Police units are also involved in the efforts to mitigate the consequences of the strike.
"The enemy drone that struck one of the houses did not detonate. Police evacuated about 100 residents of this high-rise building. A few minutes ago, police explosives experts removed the warhead that was in an apartment on the 3rd floor, neutralizing the threat to people," - added the Minister of Internal Affairs.
"Civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, was also damaged overnight in Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Odesa regions. Two people were killed in Nizhyn, and among the 4 injured in Kharkiv region, there is also a child - a one-and-a-half-year-old boy," - indicated Klymenko.
"Thank you to all rescuers and police officers who have been with people from the first minutes of the Russian attack! Mobile service centers are also operating on site so that victims can quickly restore lost documents and receive necessary consultations. Efforts to mitigate the consequences of the strikes continue," - emphasized Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
