Several dozen UAVs have been destroyed and suppressed in different districts of Rostov region, Russian Governor Vasily Golubev said, reports UNN.

"Around two in the morning, a massive UAV attack began in the Rostov region. The air defense forces destroyed and suppressed several dozen targets in different parts of the region using electronic warfare," he wrote on his telegram channel.
"As a result of the air attack, two transformers at a power substation in Rodionovo-Nesvitaysk district caught fire. A firefighting crew has arrived at the scene," he added.
According to Golubev, dry vegetation in Rostov-on-Don caught fire at the site of the UAV's crash, and the fire has been extinguished.
"Air defense forces continue to repel the UAV attack. Information is being updated," the governor added.
