Due to a UAV attack, 80 hectares of forest have been burning in the Exclusion Zone for over a day. 148 SES rescuers are involved in the liquidation at three locations.

In the Kyiv region, rescuers have been extinguishing a fire in the Exclusion Zone for over a day following an attack by Russian UAVs, UNN reports with reference to the State Emergency Service.

Details

According to the State Emergency Service, the shelling ignited forest floor and fallen timber. Liquidation efforts are ongoing at three locations.

The fire has covered more than 80 hectares of territory. Dry weather and sharp gusts of wind are contributing to the spread of the fire.

A total of 148 rescuers are involved in extinguishing the fires.
