Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has signed a federal law that clarifies the list of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the presence of a criminal record for which or an investigation under which closes the possibility of being sent to the front by signing a contract during mobilization, reports UNN with reference to Russian media.

As Russian media report, the following crimes were excluded from the list of articles:
- crimes of minor and medium gravity;
- certain crimes in the sphere of arms and explosives trafficking, violations of safety rules, as well as some types of military and transport crimes.
At the same time, persons with a criminal record or under investigation for articles on pedophilia, terrorism, high treason, espionage, sabotage, extremism, extortion, and a number of other serious crimes against the state and public safety remain banned from signing a contract.
The law has been published on the website of legal acts and has entered into force.
