4 officials of the Russian Railways have been notified of suspicion. As the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine found out, the suspects ensured unimpeded transportation of personnel and military equipment for the Russian armed forces by rail. According to the investigation, these are representatives of the Federal Railway Transport of the Russian Federation, Russian Railways, and Crimean Railways, UNN reports.
They were transporting personnel, ammunition and military equipment for the Russian army - 4 officials of the occupation railroad were served with a notice of suspicion, the statement said.
The head of the Federal Agency of Railway Transport of the Russian Federation, the general director of Russian Railways, the general director of the so-called FSUE Crimean Railways and the acting general director of the so-called FSUE Railways of Novorossia were served with a notice of suspicion. These individuals are charged with aiding and abetting in the conduct of an aggressive war committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (Article 27(5), Article 28(2), Article 437(2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspects ensured the rapid and unimpeded transportation by rail of personnel, ammunition, military equipment and other cargo for the Russian armed forces.
By doing so, they provided the top leadership of the Russian Federation and the Russian Armed Forces with the means to remove obstacles to the conduct of an aggressive war against Ukraine.
