A 20-year-old resident of Khmelnytsky threatened to blow up a grenade during a quarrel in the street, he was notified of suspicion and a pre-trial restraint was imposed, the Khmelnytsky Regional Prosecutor's Office reported, UNN reports.

The incident took place on July 29 in the regional center.
"While in a courtyard of an apartment building in a state of intoxication, the suspect began to settle a relationship with his own mother. [During the quarrel, he took out a grenade and, holding it in his hands, threatened to blow it up," the prosecutor's office said on Facebook.
The police were called by the man's sister, who lives in the neighborhood and witnessed the incident.
Law enforcement officers detained the man and seized the dangerous munition.
A 20-year-old man was served a notice of suspicion of illegal acquisition, carrying and storage of a grenade without a legal permit (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
A pre-trial restraint in the form of detention with the possibility of bail was imposed on him.
