Local residents reported a fire near the power substation in the village of Generalske, Rodionovo-Nesvita district.
According to eyewitnesses, before the fire started, they heard the characteristic sounds of a UAV flying overhead, followed by a loud explosion. Several explosions were also heard near Rostov and in the Morozovsk area.
According to the head of the region, Golubev, a massive UAV attack began around 2 a.m. in Rostov region. Air defense forces allegedly destroyed several dozen targets in different parts of the region.
In Rostov-on-Don, dry vegetation caught fire at the site of the drone crash, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
