"Today, August 7, as of 9:30 a.m., the level of consumption is the same as yesterday, August 6. No restrictive measures are expected to be applied today," the statement said.
Yesterday, August 6, the daily maximum consumption was recorded around 15:00. It was 1.3% higher than the maximum consumption level of the previous day.
Ukrainians were urged to move the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours, from 11:00 to 15:00, if possible. This is the period when the power system has the most electricity due to the active operation of solar power plants.

Consequences of Russia's attacks on the energy sector
According to Ukrenergo, at night, during the air alarm, the main overhead line in the southern region was disconnected by protection action . There were no power outages. The line was restored to operation by automation.
At the same time, in the central region, the overhead line of the regional power company was disconnected by the protection action. Consumers in certain districts of Poltava region lost power. After 40 minutes, the power supply was restored to all consumers, Ukrenergo reported.
According to the Ministry of Energy:
- Chernihiv region: as a result of hostile shelling, household consumers lost power. A total of 1391 subscribers were left without electricity.
- Mykolaiv region: an overhead line was disconnected due to a UAV attack. Consumers did not lose power.
- Poltava region: several substations, household consumers and hospitals were cut off from power as a result of the UAV attack. Power supply has been restored to all consumers.
Power outage consumers
According to Ukrenergo, 495 settlements are fully or partially without power due to the hostilities and other reasons. Due to hostilities: there are power outages in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovs'k, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Sumy regions. For technical reasons, consumers in Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovska oblasts had power outages.
The Ministry of Energy reported that a high-voltage overhead line connecting the power systems of Ukraine and Moldova was briefly disconnected twice in the southern region over the past day. Due to technological disruptions, household and industrial consumers lost power. One of the substations and the household consumers connected to it also lost power. The power supply has been restored.

According to the Ministry of Energy, a 49-year-old reinforcer was fatally electrocuted in Zaporizhzhia Oblast when he approached electrical equipment at a dangerous distance during repair work.
