"Today, August 3, on the eighth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine will compete in 7 sports," the NOC reported.

Results of the competition day on August 2
On the seventh day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine competed in 7 sports. Boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak guaranteed Ukraine the third medal of the Olympics — at least a "bronze."
Diving (synchronized springboard 3 m)
Oleh Kolodiy and Danylo Konovalov took seventh place in the final (348.27).
Rowing
Ihor Khmara and Stanislav Kovalov finished fifth in Final B and finished 11th in the lightweight men's double sculls competition.
Shooting (25 m small-bore pistol)
Olena Kostevych, showing the 25th result in qualification, could not reach the final and finished her performances at the Olympics.
Judo (weight category 78 kg+)
Khrystyna Homan lost by shido in the 1/16 finals to Marit Kamps from the Netherlands and finished her fight at the Games.
Athletics
Mykhailo Kokhan with a result of 77.42 m confidently qualified for the hammer throw final.
In women's high jump, two out of three Ukrainian representatives — Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Iryna Herashchenko — reached the final. To do this, it was enough for them to clear a height of 1.95 m. Yulia Levchenko failed to clear 1.83 m.
Oleksandr Pohorilko, Tetiana Melnyk, Danylo Danylenko, and Mariana Shostak with a result of 3:15.51 minutes took sixth place in their group and were 14th overall in the qualification round of the mixed 4x400 meters relay. The Ukrainian quartet could not reach the final.
Roman Kokoshko with a result of 19.36 m in shot put finished his performances at the Olympics at the qualification stage.
Canoe slalom (kayak cross)
Viktoriia Us showed the 26th result in qualification and will continue the fight on August 3 in the first round.
Boxing (weight category 80 kg)
Oleksandr Khyzhniak guaranteed Ukraine the third medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics! In the 1/4 finals, he defeated Wanderson Pereira from Brazil by a unanimous decision of the judges — 5:0.
