On August 11, 138 explosions were recorded in Sumy region. Sumy, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Miropil, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Novoslobid, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne and Seredyno-Bud communities came under fire from the territory of Russia. Two air strikes with guided bombs were carried out on the Sumy community. A 9-year-old child was injured.
The Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne and Esman communities were also shelled with guided aerial bombs.
- In Myropilska community, there were air strikes by UAVs (8 explosions) and artillery shelling (14 explosions).
- In Bilopilska community, there was an attack by FPV drones (2 explosions) and mortar attacks (22 explosions).
- Russian soldiers fired on the territory of the Krasnopilska community from artillery (19 explosions) and from an FPV drone (1 explosion).
- Two mines were dropped by Russian troops on the territory of the Seredina-Buda community. There was also shelling from cannon artillery (6 explosions).
- In Novoslobidska community, there were mortar attacks (18 explosions), shelling with cannon artillery (10 explosions), and air strikes with air bombs (2 explosions).
- Air strikes (3 explosions) and a rocket attack (1 explosion) were recorded in Yunakivska community.
- Russian troops attacked Khotyn community with mortars (7 explosions).
- 10 mines were dropped on the territory of the Velykopysarivska community.
