Russia has announced missile tests at the Kura test range in the Ust-Kamchatsky district from May 6 to 10, Russian media reported, according to UNN.

Missile tests have begun at the Kura military test range in the Ust-Kamchatsky district of the Russian Federation, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Krai. People have been prohibited from being near the test site.
According to a warning from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the testing activities will take place between May 6 and May 10. For safety reasons, residents of the region are urged to completely refrain from visiting the territory of the test range and adjacent areas. Furthermore, a ban on the presence and movement of all types of equipment has been introduced for the duration of the tests.
The Kura test range belongs to the Space Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces and is reportedly used for testing missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
According to reports, tests were previously conducted there in October 2024. At that time, a Yars missile was launched at the range.
