Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, on the third anniversary of the liberation of Bucha, recalled the crimes of the Russian occupiers in this settlement in 2022.

He wrote about this on his page in the social network "X", reports UNN.

Details

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry published a photo of a woman's hand with a red manicure. This photo went around the world in early April 2022: the deceased turned out to be Iryna Filkina – she was shot by the Russians while riding a bicycle. The commander of the 234th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 76th Airborne Division of the Russian Federation, Artem Tareyev, is suspected of being involved in her death.

Three years ago, the images from liberated Bucha became a moral earthquake for humanity. Men shot in the back of the head with their hands tied, burned bodies of raped women, killed children, corpses in wells and other atrocities that have not been on European soil since the Second World War

- said Sybiha.

He added: if the Russians had managed to destroy the Ukrainian state in 2022, the whole of Ukraine would look like Bucha. The Russian occupiers have never hidden their genocidal intentions – one can only imagine the true scale of Russian crimes in the occupied territories of Ukraine, Sybiha said.

Justice must be inevitable. We thank all our partners who are working with us to ensure comprehensive accountability for Russia. Evil must be punished. Because unpunished evil only gets stronger and returns

- wrote the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Recall

On April 31, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the city of Bucha of the Kyiv region from the Russian invaders. As a result of the Russians' stay in the city, hundreds of people died.

Recently, Donald Trump's spiritual advisor, pastor Mark Burns visited Ukraine at the invitation of Chief Rabbi Moshe Asman. They visited Bucha, Borodyanka and other settlements of the Kyiv region that were affected by the Russians.
