Generation and consumption
"No power outages are planned for today. Power engineers continue to keep the situation in the power system stable," the Energy Ministry said in a statement.
The agency said that over the past day, the Ukrainian power grid had been receiving surplus electricity from the Polish power grid.
However, they called for rational and economical use of electricity, especially during peak hours - from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00. This, as the Ministry of Energy noted, helps to ensure the stable operation of the power system.
There is no electricity export and no plans to export electricity.
Power outage for consumers
In Chernihiv region, household consumers lost power as a result of hostile shelling. A total of 1564 customers in 7 settlements were left without electricity.
Over the past day, power companies have restored power to 18,384 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions.
In total, 497 settlements remain without power supply as of this morning due to the hostilities and technical violations.
Emergencies
According to the Ministry of Energy, a service vehicle hit an explosive device while inspecting an overhead line in the eastern region. The 31-year-old power grid operator was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
In addition, in the western region, an attempt to break into a high-voltage substation was recorded by an unknown person. The offender was detained.
