The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed the injury of two Ukrainians as a result of Iranian missile strikes on UAE oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, as reported by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in a condemning statement, writes UNN.
We strongly condemn the Iranian missile strikes on oil tankers of the United Arab Emirates in the Strait of Hormuz, which resulted in the injury of two Ukrainian citizens. Our diplomatic missions in the UAE and Oman are closely cooperating with the relevant authorities to provide necessary assistance to the affected Ukrainians
The Minister emphasized that "attacks on commercial shipping threaten regional stability, freedom of navigation, and global energy security."
"We call for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the complete unblocking of the strait," Sybiha stated.
