Over several weeks of drafting, the declaration was significantly revised based on Hungarian proposals. Also, regarding the process of Ukraine's accession to the EU, the clause on accelerating accession was removed from the text at the last minute on my initiative. It was not easy

And added: "For the first time in a year and a half, there may be a final declaration adopted by all member states."

"This is also possible if someone not only comes to set the table and instill fear, but also tries to find a compromise," he noted.
