On the night of of December 21, 34 out of 35 enemy Shahed drones were destroyed in the skies over Ukraine. The enemy launched attack drones in several waves starting at eight in the evening. This was reported by UNN reports with reference to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of December 21, 2023, the Russian occupiers attacked with Shahed UAVs from three directions: Chauda - occupied Crimea, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - Russian Federation.
A total of 35 Shahed-136/131 launches were recorded, which attacked in waves at different times, from 20.00 on December 20 to 03.30 on December 21," - the report says.
Tactical aviation is involved in repelling the air attack, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"Last night, in different directions, the defenders of the sky managed to to shoot down 34 out of 35 enemy attack UAVs launched.
Air defense was operating in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad regions," the Air Force reported.
