During the 4.5 hours of air alert in Kyiv at night, up to 10 enemy drones were shot down, without damage or casualties. Russia also raised strategic aircraft and Mig-31K Dagger missile carriers, but no launches were made. This was reported on Monday by KCMA in Telegram, UNN reports.

"Around three o'clock in the morning, the enemy took off about a dozen Tu-95MS strategic aircraft. Subsequently, Mig-31K Kinzhal missile carriers took off. These threats were the reason for the morning air alert. Fortunately, the launches of strategic aviation missiles were not confirmed," said KCMA chief Serhiy Popko.
Meanwhile, he said, there was an air raid alert in Kyiv for four and a half hours during the night due to an attack by Russian armed forces' strike drones.
"The defense forces detected and neutralized up to a dozen drones in various ways (the exact number and type of drones will be made public by the Air Force). No damage was recorded in the capital, and no one sought medical assistance as a result of the UAV attack," Popko said.
