On Tuesday, March 12, the main stage of the joint naval exercises "Maritime Security Belt - 2024" between the armed forces of Iran, Russia and China begins. This was reported by UNN with reference to Irna.

The exercise will involve the navies of Iran, China, and Russia.

Representatives from Oman, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and South Africa will also attend the training.

As noted, the purpose of the exercise is to strengthen security in the region, expand multilateral cooperation between the participating countries, and "demonstrate the goodwill and ability of these countries to jointly support world peace, maritime security and create a maritime community with a common future.
