We should not make a special sensation out of the arrival of Jared (Kushner - ed.) and Witkoff, because, firstly, we are in contact with them. Secondly, I believe that their visit is not needed by us, but by them. Why? Because it is disrespectful to go to Moscow and not come to Kyiv.
The President understands that a visit to Ukraine involves more complex logistics, but Ukraine is not talking about the location, but about the result.
They are in contact by phone, and by phone they express a desire to continue communication and negotiations. The issue is that the Russians do not want to end in the format in which it is most likely possible to end today - which is, we stand where we stand.
