The news agency writes that these figures refer to the entire period under investigation, from 2015-2016 to 2021-2022. However, the sent tax bills cover only the period of 2015-16, as the statute of limitations will soon expire in these cases.
The Italian tax authorities argue that the registration of users in the above-mentioned social networks should be considered as indirect transactions. This involves exchanging an account for a user's personal data.
