Inflation in the consumer market in March 2025 compared to February 2025 amounted to 1.5%, since the beginning of the year – 3.5%. Annual inflation accelerated to 14.6%. Eggs, clothes, and fruits rose in price the most in March. This is stated in the express release of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, reports UNN.

It is reported that in the consumer market in March, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.7%.
Eggs rose in price the most - by 18%. Clothes (13%) and shoes (13.3%) also rose in price. Prices for fruits, non-alcoholic beverages, sunflower oil, vegetables, processed grain products, bread, meat and meat products, milk, and butter increased from 0.6% to 6.6%. At the same time, rice and lard decreased in price by 0.5%.
Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1.9%, which is associated with an increase in the price of tobacco products by 2.4%. Prices for transport increased by 0.2%, mainly due to an increase in the price of travel in railway and road passenger transport by 4.4% and 1.5%, respectively. At the same time, fuel and lubricants decreased in price by 0.9%.
Also in March, compared to February, the cost of services for the management of apartment buildings increased by 9.5%.
