Some people came to the rally with buckets and poured water on the special forces, who used fire hoses against them.

On November 28, it was reported that a protest broke out in Georgia over the government's decision to suspend negotiations with the EU.

As a result, protesters clashed with police near the side entrance to the Georgian parliament in Tbilisi. President Zurabishvili stood between the special forces and the protesters.  

The Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine condemned the use of force against peaceful protesters in Tbilisi and the suspension of EU accession negotiations. Ukraine has called on the Georgian authorities to respect the right to protest and return to European integration reforms.
