Private carriers will increase the minimum evacuation tariff to 1,680 hryvnias due to fuel prices. This decision will only affect gross violators of the rules.

In Kyiv, private carriers plan to increase the cost of transporting temporarily impounded vehicles from April 15, 2026, due to rising fuel prices. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, according to UNN.

The minimum cost of evacuation will be UAH 1,680. Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Kostiantyn Usovyi noted that the tariff for such services is not state-regulated and is determined directly by the companies that carry out the transportation.

The tariff for these services is not state-regulated; it is set by the operators themselves.

— he explained.

The Kyiv City State Administration clarified that the new tariff for private operators will be the same as the fee for evacuating cars weighing up to 2 tons if it is carried out by the National Police.

At the same time, even after the increase, Kyiv will remain among the cities with relatively low costs for such services. For comparison, in Dnipro, evacuation costs from UAH 2,110 to UAH 2,410, and in Lviv – from UAH 1,862 to UAH 2,638.

Vehicle evacuation is primarily used in cases where parking violations create obstacles for public transport, emergency services, or block exits from courtyards.

The Kyiv City State Administration emphasizes that this is an exceptional measure aimed at ensuring road safety.

According to the city parking inspection, in 2025, almost 400,000 violations of stopping, standing, and parking rules were recorded in Kyiv. However, evacuation was applied in only one out of eight cases.

The city authorities urge drivers to observe parking rules to avoid additional costs and not to create obstacles for traffic.
