The police received a report today at 11:00 AM that a traffic accident involving a minibus and a passenger car occurred in the city on Kyivskyi Shliakh Street.
According to preliminary information, it was established that the driver of a Jeep crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a regular-route bus carrying 17 passengers. As a result of the accident, a passenger in the car died at the scene, and the driver was taken to the hospital. Three more bus passengers were hospitalized,
As stated, criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the violation of road safety rules or the operation of transport by persons driving vehicles, if they caused the death of the victim or inflicted serious bodily injury (Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
