According to ASTRA, analyzed eyewitness videos indicate that the target of the strike was a facility at 89A Michurina Street, where the Belgorod LPUMG is located. A fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise.
According to open data, the Belgorod LPUMG is a branch of LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Moscow" and is responsible for the operation of main gas pipelines and the transportation of natural gas to consumers in the Belgorod region.
Earlier, the acting governor of the Belgorod region, Alexander Shuvaev, reported a missile attack, damage to one of the facilities in the city and energy infrastructure, and also reported three wounded in the village of Belovskoye. There is currently no independent confirmation of the information about the damage to the gas transportation facility.
