Details
Four fires were caused by enemy drone strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv regions. Another six fires on an area of 3.39 hectares occurred simultaneously in the Kyiv region, in the Sukholiske forestry, according to the enterprise's statement.
The aforementioned fires, according to preliminary data, were caused by intentional arson. At the same time, the highest level of fire danger has been declared in the country.
The remaining fires were caused by human factors. In particular, due to careless handling of fire, ignitions occurred in the Cherkasy region, where the fire area was 0.36 hectares. Also, fire engulfed 6 hectares of forest in the Lviv region. The causes of this fire are being established
At the same time, according to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, an extreme level of fire danger will persist in Ukraine over the next three days. During daytime hours, air temperatures across almost the entire country will reach 35-38 °C.
