In the first round, the Blue and Yellows defeated Estonia with a crushing score of 8-0 (1-0, 3-0, 4-0).
"An undisputed victory for the Ukrainian national ice hockey team at the start of the World Championship in Division 1B," the ministry commented.
At present, Dmytro Khrystych's wards are at the top of the World Cup standings.
