According to the publication, Chelsea players and staff met Mykhailo Mudryk in Hong Kong for preseason preparations as an entirely different person.
"Whereas previously he was considered somewhat aloof and gloomy, Mudryk now appeared smiling and ready to hug, speaking with as many club employees as possible," the publication writes.
The publication adds that the extent to which everyone was happy about his return is illustrated by an episode in which forward Nicolas Jackson arranged with Alonso to be substituted toward the end of the friendly match against "Juventus," despite having only just come on himself, so that the Ukraine national team player could play his first match for "Chelsea" in the past 21 months.
