The Cabinet of Ministers has distributed more than UAH 1.7 billion in subventions to local budgets for the implementation of the New Ukrainian School program. This was announced by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on Telegram, UNN reports .

“The procedure and conditions for granting a subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of the public investment project to provide high-quality, modern and affordable general secondary education “New Ukrainian School” have been approved. A subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of the public investment project to provide high-quality, modern and affordable secondary education “New Ukrainian School” in the amount of UAH 1 billion 770 million has been distributed,” Melnychuk said.

The Cabinet of Ministers has reduced the expenditures of part of educational programs and increased the amount of educational subventions to local budgets to over UAH 1 billion.
