Germany will provide Ukraine with two additional IRIS-T air defense systems by the end of 2024. This was reported by the representative of the German Ministry of Defense Christian Freuding, UNN reports.

Major General Christian Freuding, Head of the Special Staff for Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, said that the new IRIS-T SLM and SLS systems, which are designed to intercept medium- and short-range ballistic missiles, will arrive in Ukraine in the coming weeks, before Christmas.
However, Freuding also assured that his country's support for Ukraine will not stop after the holidays and will continue in the coming months, including after the German elections.
