Fuel prices have increased at gas stations, with premium diesel crossing the 92 UAH mark. The difference in gasoline prices between retail chains currently exceeds 7 hryvnias.

As of May 25, 2026, fuel prices in major Ukrainian gas station chains remain high. Furthermore, fuel prices increased over the weekend, reports UNN, citing data from gas station networks.

The most expensive type of fuel at the beginning of the week was premium diesel, the cost of which in three gas station chains — OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR — exceeds 92 UAH per liter.

Standard gasoline in most networks costs about 80 UAH per liter, however, the difference between individual operators reaches over 5 UAH.

What fuel prices were set by major gas station chains on May 25

In the OKKO and WOG networks, fuel prices are identical for all main positions. Standard gasoline in these networks costs 79.90 UAH per liter, premium gasoline — 82.90 UAH per liter. Standard diesel fuel is sold at 89.90 UAH per liter, premium diesel fuel — at 92.90 UAH per liter.

At SOCAR, prices are slightly higher. Standard gasoline in this network costs 79.99 UAH per liter, premium gasoline — 83.99 UAH per liter. Standard diesel is sold at 89.99 UAH per liter, premium diesel — at 92.99 UAH per liter.

UKRNAFTA has lower prices. Standard gasoline in this network costs 74.90 UAH per liter, premium — 76.90 UAH per liter. Standard diesel fuel is sold at 86.90 UAH per liter, premium diesel fuel — at 88.90 UAH per liter.

Who has the most expensive and cheapest gasoline

The highest price for standard gasoline among gas station chains is at SOCAR — 79.99 UAH per liter. At OKKO and WOG, this type of fuel costs 79.90 UAH per liter. The lowest price was set by UKRNAFTA, where standard gasoline is sold at 74.90 UAH per liter.

As we can see, the difference between the highest and lowest price for standard gasoline is 5.09 UAH per liter. For consumers, this means that when refueling 40 liters, the difference between networks can be over 200 UAH.

Premium gasoline is most expensive at SOCAR — 83.99 UAH per liter. At OKKO and WOG, it is sold for 82.90 UAH per liter. At UKRNAFTA, the price is 76.90 UAH per liter. The difference between the highest and lowest price for premium gasoline reaches 7.09 UAH per liter.

Premium fuel: how much it has increased in price

In most networks, premium types of fuel cost several hryvnias more than standard ones. At OKKO and WOG, premium gasoline is 3 UAH per liter more expensive than standard. Premium diesel in these networks is also 3 UAH per liter more expensive.

At SOCAR, the difference between standard and premium gasoline is 4 UAH per liter. For diesel fuel, the difference is 3 UAH per liter.

At UKRNAFTA, the markup on premium fuel is lower. Premium gasoline is 2 UAH per liter more expensive than standard, and premium diesel is also 2 UAH per liter more expensive.

Average fuel price in Ukraine: what it is

If we take the four networks popular with drivers that we monitored above, the average price of standard gasoline is about 78.67 UAH per liter. The average price of premium gasoline is about 81.67 UAH per liter.

For diesel fuel, the average figures are higher. Standard diesel costs an average of about 89.17 UAH per liter, premium diesel — about 91.92 UAH per liter.

As of now, diesel fuel remains the most expensive category among the listed positions.

In this case, the key for drivers remains the choice between the convenience of the network, quality of service, availability of loyalty programs, and the actual price per liter of fuel. A difference of a few hryvnias may seem insignificant when buying one liter, but it can weigh on the personal budget when filling a full tank.

As a reminder

In May 2026, premium brands of gasoline and diesel fuel remain the most expensive items in the retail segment of the Ukrainian fuel market. Mustang+ diesel costs 92.90 UAH, and autogas is 48.90 UAH. The lowest prices for gasoline and diesel were recorded in the Shell gas station network.
