The frontline is dynamic, so it is impossible to talk about the quality of the Russian occupiers' achievements. This was reported to UNN by the head of the public relations service of the Land Forces Command, Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Fitio, commenting on the information about the partial occupation of Khromove in Bakhmut district by the enemy.
The enemy continues to attack with assault groups, Storm-Z and Storm-V units. The presence of former Wagnerites, who are part of regular units, has also been recorded. Their number is small, they mostly serve as instructors and generally do not influence the situation. The Russian occupiers have not had any success in this area (Bakhmut - ed.), Ukrainian defenders are bravely defending their positions, and at the best opportunity they go on the offensive,
When asked about the situation around Bakhmut and whether the Russians really managed to take part of Khromove, Fitio replied: "The front is dynamic. It can move 50 meters there, 50 meters here, and now we cannot talk about the quality of the Russian occupiers' achievements in this area."
He noted that Ukrainian defenders are in active defense. Whenever possible, they improve their tactical position and move to offensive actions.
