Details
According to the investigation, in the Izyum district in 2023-2024, law enforcement officers discovered the facts of drawing up documents with fake information for further receiving state compensation for destroyed housing as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation through the eVodnovlennya program. In fact, the real estate has not suffered any damage or destruction since the full-scale invasion of the enemy.
In addition, the individuals were not even the owners of the housing, but had only an indirect relationship to the houses. Using forged documents, officials registered their ownership of the real estate.
Participants in the "schemes" include residents, local community officials, and employees of local community utilities in the Izyum district.
Law enforcement officers conducted more than 25 authorized searches at the suspects' residences and workplaces, as well as at the storage of documents with false information.
A number of construction examinations have been ordered. The investigation is ongoing.
