All units of the National Police are ready to provide enhanced security measures during the celebration of the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine and Independence Day of Ukraine under martial law. This was announced by the head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine Maksym Akhrameyev, UNN reports with reference to the National Police.

The head of the department emphasized that these days there is a high probability that the aggressor country will launch numerous missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine, so special attention should be paid to a clear algorithm of actions during the "Air Alert" or "Missile Danger" signals.
Police units, investigative teams, explosives experts, dog handlers and other services will be involved in providing enhanced security measures.
The National Police also appeals to citizens to take care of their own safety, respond to alarms, stay in shelters during their signals, do not touch suspicious objects, and report violations of law and order to the police.

According to the police, 486 events are expected to be held on the territory of the state, except for Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy and Kherson regions.
