Testing is underway of a new service - car re-registration via Diia. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, reports UNN.

After the testing period, which began in October, the online service for re-registration of vehicles will be available in Diia on a permanent basis. Re-registration in Diia will be available for passenger cars, motorcycles or mopeds. The seller only needs to sign the contract in Diia and share a QR code or link. And the buyer needs to read the document, choose license plates and a registration certificate.
To ensure that people do not have to go to service centres when buying or selling a car, the mandatory technical examination is to be eliminated. Technical expertise will remain only at the first registration of a car and at the request of a car buyer who wants to check the technical condition of the car.
