The Finnish government has developed recommendations for employers and employees in case of air raid alerts. Citizens may now refrain from going to work in the event of danger, though this does not apply to critical enterprises, reports UNN.

Employers are also obliged to pay compensation equivalent to the value of the missed workday due to an aerial threat.
"Fortunately, emergencies happen quite rarely. However, when they do occur, there must be clear procedures for action at workplaces. It is particularly important to me that employees are paid their wages in such situations. No one should have to compromise their personal safety due to uncertainty over whether they will receive their salary,"
At the same time, according to government officials, if drone threats become more frequent and lead to significant costs for businesses, the authorities will consider mechanisms for "compensating employers for such costs."
