In Lviv, the announced exhibition of defense technologies IRON DEMO 2026 has been canceled. It was scheduled to take place on August 28-29, reports UNN citing the organizers.
Details
The exhibition was canceled after a Russian strike on one of the Ukrainian training grounds in the Kyiv region, where a publicly announced weapons exhibition was taking place at the time. The attack resulted in deaths and injuries.
The organizers of IRON DEMO expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in the tragedy of July 24 in the Kyiv region.
"Over the three years of the cluster's existence, security has always been our top priority. Each of our events during this time was organized in compliance with strict security protocols and with mandatory coordination with all relevant authorities. But today, any words from us would be superfluous. We officially announce that the IRON DEMO 2026 event on August 28-29 in Lviv will not take place. We will contact everyone who registered for the event as partners, exhibitors, and participants personally,"
