Lysogor also said that according to Russian legislation, from July 1, 2024, a person without a Russian passport in the territory of the so-called "lPR" can be recognized as a foreign citizen and will be deported if he or she poses a threat to the occupiers.
Currently, the Russians have found a way to deport those who already have a Russian passport. The relevant bill is already under consideration. If adopted, the population in the occupied territory will be deprived of Russian citizenship for violating the oath
He pointed out that, given the broad interpretation of the obligations set out in the text, it would be possible to be deprived of citizenship for anything. The innovations will apply exclusively to people from the occupied territories.
