The Air Force noted that recently, during air attacks, the enemy uses a large number of missiles and drones. Their massive use in certain areas often exceeds the number of cover means.
In addition, the enemy uses modern means of air attack, constantly improving them. We are talking about shooting thermal and radar traps, as well as using electronic warfare equipment installed directly on the missiles. All this, as noted, significantly complicates the operation of Soviet-made anti-aircraft missile systems, which are in service with the Air Forces.
Western systems work much more efficiently in such conditions, which are not enough in Ukraine to reliably cover hundreds of critical infrastructure facilities. That is why, during massive enemy attacks, maximum forces and means are used, including aviation, electronic warfare, air defense systems and mobile Fire groups
Also, the armed forces of Ukraine noted that on the eve of the attacks, the enemy takes into account meteorological conditions that significantly affect the work of mobile Fire groups and fighter aircraft.
"The dense fog and cloud cover that was observed in many regions at the time of the attack did not allow the pilots and crews of the MVG to effectively perform tasks," the Air Force added.
